Xmas Haul - Part One

This is part one of my Christmas Haul!

I got some amazing gifts from my family and my partners family.
The two things I wanted the most were some Lime Crime Lipsticks and Sigma Brushes.
I got this and more =)

I got the entire opaque collection of Lime Crime Lipsticks (Thanks to my amazing parents) and I spent the afternoon swatching and taking pictures (for you guys and myself)
There were 10 colours all together, they retail for USD $16.00 but if you buy the collection you end up saving USD $40 because it retails on their site for USD $120.00
If you are an international buyer like myself you also get free shipping worldwide when you buy the collection.

I love the colours they are extremely pigmented and the product itself is nice and creamy and it doesn't have a scent (which I'm so thankful for).
I am also the worlds biggest sucker for packaging so I love the cute little silver unicorns on everything.
The colour also lasts quite a while and leaves a nice stain even after it has worn off!

The colours are so bright and vibrant which is what lead me to wanting these lipsticks however they are not all wearable (in my opinion).
I am not going to be rocking the blue lipstick as a casual work look anytime soon.

Now that I have tried these products out there are three of the limited edition colours I want (Yellow, mint green and deep wine red - that's just how I describe them not what they are called).
You can't get these colours from the lime crime website anymore but I found a seller on ebay.com who has them so I am thinking this may be a purchase I make in the future.

Check out my swatches below!
- They are all swatched on bare lips, no lip linear or primer was used.

I hope to do some tutorials with these in the New Year.

I am not sure this one will ever get used.

I really like this, I needed to apply a lip liner first though.

I love this one a lot!!

I like this as a summer colour.

This is the perfect party lipstick!
Nope!

Non Pareil Boutique Haul (Pic Heavy)

Hey Guys!

It Christmas!
Awe I am so full and it is so hot so I am just trolling the Internet for some new products to buy because I got tons of gift cards and $$$

I received a little haul from Non Pareil Boutique yesterday, I would have put it up straight away but we had a Christmas party last night and I worked 10 hours during the day so I just hadn't had time until now.

I got some ELF, NYX & Wet & Wild products - these three brands are pretty much my favourite inexpensive brands at the moment.

I even got a free little gift =)

This is the ELF Complexion Perfection Powder.

I am not 100% sure why I bought this because my skin tone is pretty even but I think the pretty colours and idea of the product enticed me.

The theory behind this powder is that these colors will neutralize certain tones in your face that may like to correct.

It goes as follows:
Yellow cancels out Purple
Green cancels out Red
Blue cancels out Orange
Pink is in between red & violet & it will cancel out Green/Blue

I will do a review on this product once I have used it and tied it out a bit more.

I Got Good Jeans

Silent Treatment

This is my favorite - I wore it yesterday and just had to wear it again today!

Cool As A Cucumber

Nutty

My free gift =)   I probably won't wear these to be honest, they are a light brown (you cant tell here) and they are just to long, I would feel a bit like a drag queen in these. I am going to add them to my giveaway box.

This was such a bargain. I had been waiting for about 2 months for this item to come back into stock. It is the 'ELF Essentials Professional Complete Set Of 12 Brushes' and it only cost something like USD $14.00. This is such a steal because here you are looking at about NZD $10.00 each brush and the brush choice is generally limited - Bling is the only place I know that stocks them. Below are the brushes that came in the set.

Elf Mineral Eye Shadow Primer - I like this because it is easy to apply and it works well with my skin tone.

I am not sure about this product yet, the primer is so light and it does its job however it also shows every crack and imperfection on my lips. It also seems to dry my lips out.

NYX Round Lip gloss -Whipped
NYX Round Lip gloss - Mauve

NYX Round Lip gloss - Doll Pink
NYX Round Lipstick - Circe (LOVE THIS!)
NYX Round Lipstick - *Mute (Really dislike this, it is almost a metallic version of Circe and it is not very flattering on me at all)

NYX Round Lipstick -  Thalia (A little dark for me, its a deep purpley pink. I am determined to make it work though because I do like it)

NYX Round Lipstick - Peach Bellini (This colour took me so long to source because it was sold out everywhere and I don't even love it that much, such a shame)
